Love Literati Contest: Winners!

Hey Elsians,

We have come to the end of the 3rd edition of the Love Literati contest hosted by ELSiEiSY blog and sponsored by Ebony & Indigo Natural Skin Care Boutique, Dhoney Beadz and Friends of ELSiEiSY.

I am sorry for the delay. I was to make this announcement yesterday but my Friday was busy and I needed a day like ‘Saturday’ to carefully weed out the ‘almighty spammers’. As much as I want everyone to win something, it’s unfortunate that it’s not going to happen. However, I owe us all a free and fair contest.

If I go by disqualifying every entry with any form of spam comment, we will not have our 5winners tonight, but because I do not want to sound like ‘Etisalat’ or succumb to the spirit of recession, I pulled down all spam comments. However, the post (‘Memories we Shared’) with the highest number of deleted deliberate spam comments (about 100) has been disqualified. That was just too much and inhumane.

See winners below:

1st – ‘Falling Grace’ by Adejumoke Balogun

2nd‘Hyacinths and Memories’ by Victor Daniel

3rd – ‘This was love i suppose…till it was too late’ by Alofe Oluwakemi

 4th – ’14 Reasons, 14 Days’ by Iteoluwakishi

5th – ‘My Distant Lover’ by Rukayat Yaro

Special thanks to our judges – Walter Ude, Sally Kenneth Dadzie, Deoye Falade & Chinonye Chidolue, you guys rock! And to every contestant, I appreciate every entrant and effort, without you contesting and trying, there won’t be a contest. Thank you.

Like I said, the aim of this contest is to celebrate love and to promote and support the growing online literary community. Being a Relationship, Literature and lifestyle blog, ELSiEiSY is passionate about creative writing and contents. Whether you made it to the contest or not, whether you are one of our 5winners or not, bear in mind that your creative contents, dreams and ambition has a home in ELSiEiSY as we understand the need for every writer to be encouraged and a platform to be heard.

Expecting an email from our winners! Kindly send via the same email address used in sending your entry.

Gracias Darlings!
