‘I really don’t understand, is it a cult? Because there are some things I feel like…if you don’t get to do some certain things, your music don’t get to some certain level’

“Getting into the business of music, I realise that I kind of put a whole lot of effort getting people to listen to my music. Not because my music is not good, not because production is not unique, but I really cannot place some certain things that is happening into the music industry.”

The Actor and singer who recently released a single titled – Mosorire, went on to say that, “I want to believe that your talent should be able to speak for you. People should be able to embrace good talent. They should be able to appreciate good talent when they see one. Not that if you don’t take some certain steps or you have to bow to some certain set of people before your music gets to some certain platforms.”

She also confirmed that some Nollywood producers actually pirate their own movies to make more money.

Dayo Amusa accentuated Tonto Dikeh’s previous explanation that some movies are illegally circulated by producers with the mentality of gaining from both ends.
