Sex is one of the signs or features of intimacy and affection in a relationship. Women are in love with sex. So whoever thinks that men have a higher sex drive than women, can seriously go take a walk. It is commonly perceived that women’s sexual drives are primarily driven by care, love and commitment from their partner. But, new researches have proved that they do it with the same intent as a man which is pure pleasure.
Sex is quite important as it gives relationships a different meaning. It makes you feel close to your partner physically, mentally and of course emotionally. Sexual touch is the best form of intimacy for a couple. But then there are some times when your body just needs it. In the lives of most women, having frequent sex plays an important role in a loving relationship. It is often the glue that bonds a couple. It does not only help us feel connected to our partner, but sex also produces “the love” hormones, such as oxytocin, that helps us to stay energetic, lively and happy. Sex can be a much more passionate experience when you share it with a meaningful partner. Sex may feel like a mere means of pleasure and fun but there is a lot of good that it can do for your relationship.
Here are the reasons why having sex in a relationship is vital to a lady:
1- It keeps you connected to your man
As it is known, sex is an intimate experience which helps in bringing you close to your partner not just physically but also emotionally. Your sexual chemistry can improve the chemistry in the relationship. A sexless relationship can be exposed over time therefore; you need sex to keep the fire in the relationship burning.
Sex is what binds you and your man together. It increases the amount of physical intimacy in your relationship.

2- It keeps the romance in check
Romance is one of the key to a lady’s heart. Having constant sex helps in keeping the romantic lives of you two in check. Having sex may seem like a casual physical activity but it has an emotional entreaty to it. Sex causes the body to release oxytocin, which is also called “the love hormone” which makes you feel that you need to love and trust your partner.
So, sex not only keeps the intimacy in a relationship in check, it also adds more than you know to your personal romantic life.
3- Having sex is good for your heart
Sex is a form of exercise and anything that exercises your heart is good for you. Sexual arousal increases the rate of heart beat per minute. Research has shown that the once you are aroused, your heart beat per minute jumps to 100bpm, and the number of beats per minute reaches its peak during orgasm.
As with most exercise, it depends how energetically you do it. Research has shown the average peak heart rate at orgasm is the same as during light exercise, such as walking upstairs. Sex uses about five calories per minute, four more calories than watching TV. So get busy! You may even want to clear your schedule to make time for having sex on a regular basis
4- It reduces your stress levels
Having sex helps to keep stress at bay. Stress often takes a toll on your relationships. However, research has shown that sex releases a feel-good chemical (oxytocin) in the brain, which helps in reducing stress levels. Instead of resorting to antidepressants, engage in a heated sex session to improve your well-being and strengthen your relationship. It also helps in boosting your self-esteem and happiness as a woman.
In stress tests, including public speaking and doing mental calculation out loud, the people who had no sex in a while at all had the highest stress levels. A lot of people during this test figured out that intimacy or orgasm helps them feel relaxed just like exercise or meditation.
5- Sex keeps you healthy
It has been proved medically that constant sex keeps women healthy and energetic. Sex also makes you more flexible. Sex acts as a metabolic and immune booster and also helps women in fighting the ageing process. Women who have sex have higher levels of metabolic and immune boosters which defend your body against germs, viruses, and other intruders.
Sex does not only ensure you stay healthy but it also serves as a means to keeping your relationship vibrant and alive.
