Kanu Nwankwo Named World All Time Football Legend

Ex-Super Eagles Striker, Kanu Nwankwo has been named as one of the greatest footballers ever by the FIFA supported International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS).

The Nigerian super star striker captained the country’s Dream team 1 to Olympic glory in Atlanta 96. Kanu played for the likes of Inter Milan, Arsenal and Ajax during his illustrious career winning a UEFA Champions League medal, a UEFA Cup medal, three FA Cup Winners Medals.

He is also a two-time African footballer of the year award winner.

The list of 48 legends is the first of series of list which will be subsequently released.
