Dead inside

dead inside poem

Every morning he would cryHis only urge now is to dieEven with a thousand wings he couldn’t flyHe wishes happiness is a thing he can buy He watches as his whole life crashesHis achievements in the past burnt to ashesHis hope for a better future dashesAgainst the rock his redemption smashes He walks around but he’s dead insideHis life has become a pain on his sideHe’s caught and lost in life’s strong tideHe wishes he could find a cave forever to hide Time after time he speaks in his mindTime continues to windIf only he can rewindAnd change events from behind Written by Durodola Folarin
