Mark 10:48 – ‘Many rebuked him and told him to be quiet, but he shouted all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!”’

Mark 10:49 – ‘Jesus stopped and called him, so they called to the blind man, “cheer up! On your feet! He is calling you.”’

(Mark 10: 46 – 52)

My message for you this morning is a very short one. ‘Reject rebuke‘. People will have their own perception of things, people will have different opinions but do not let them get to you.

I don’t know what area of your life you need to make a decision and stand by that decision, all I am saying is, if you are convinced in your heart that you are doing the right thing and making the right decision, please do go ahead. You are here today cause of all the decisions you have made, if they were wrong, you won’t be here. Therefore, all decisions, right or wrong have a vital role to play in our lives’ journey.

1 John 3:21 – “Dear friends, if our heart do not condemn us, we have confidence before God.”

When you are fully convinced in your heart, take that step, pray, believe God to guide you and reject rebuke. He has given his children the gift of dream and vision, he speaks to us in signs, take note and heed to warnings but do not let people discourage you from taking that bold step, do not be discouraged from crying out loud. The same people who rebuked you will be the same people to cheer you up.

Have a blessed week and do reject rebuke especially when its only a gimmick to stop you from taking that bold step..
