Wellington Jighere wins The World scrabble championship 2015 which was held in Australia.

Wellington Jighere  of Nigeria and Lewis Mackay of England fought it out in a marathon 7 games of Scrabble.

This makes Wellington the first black man , the first African and the first Nigerian to win the World scrabble championship. Congratulations!

The World English Scrabble Association (WESPA) serves the needs of Scrabble players worldwide. It promotes international Scrabble tournaments throughout the world, usually hosted by individual countries.

Apart from making the nation proud, Wellington is worth celebrating because he has by hard work proven that anyone who put his or her priorities straight and is focused is bound to succeed.
