BOOOOOM! Bomb Blast Rocks Bus stop

BOOOOOM! Bomb Blast Rocks Bus stop

For record purpose, I will like to state that i read the book – BOOOOOM! in less than 24hours and this happens to be the second book I have read in such record time.

When the argument on E-book vs Real books comes up…I just sit back and watch people argue the damn topic. Reminds me of my primary school days.  You would always hear ‘Teachers are better than Doctors” or Farmers are more important than Teachers” during debates. Frankly speaking, I just chill till they start the known phrase -“With these few words of mine, i hope i have been able to convince you and not to confuse you that….bla bla bla bla”. Biko who is confusing who? Y’all look more confused from my view.

I was able to read, enjoy and finish this lovely written book by Seun Odukoya because of the obvious reasons. I downloaded the book yesterday on my way to OPIC from Ikotun (Kai, i suffered yesterday o) and it kept me busy and entertained. With my earpiece plugged in, I was in a world of my own, very far from the buzzling and hazzling in this Lagos state.

BOOOOOM! Bomb Blast Rocks Bus stop

Boooom depicts the private lives of people whom we have lost to various attacks in every part of the world. People with their own issues, living each day as it comes and hopeful for another, not knowing the sort of painful death awaiting them at just the sound of BOOOOOM! Another bomb blast. One too many lives lost.

Boooom takes you to a world where you pause to remember the loved ones these wicked reoccurring incidence leave behind and the pain they carry about for the rest of their lives.

Booooom also tells you how emotional and clueless a citizen can be. Of how their outburst can point to too many things when in the real sense they know nothing.

Boooom is a book you should read. Its a book i could relate to and a book with bit of humor. Oh I almost forgot the very insensitive DOP. Dear Seun, please bring that character to my house, I want to slap the shit out of him.

The best part of this book is the puzzle. There is a puzzle! I thought the babe with the hijab was the culprit…now I am not sure anymore. I think the bomb was in the tomato basket. I really do think so.

Well…read and tell me what you think. and if you have…please solve this puzzle for me.
